I worked at Sears 2 years ago when Brandy was the manager and it was great. Brandy was a very good manager and really cared about her employees. I came back to Sears for part time work in 2017 and now the store in under new management by a lady named Apryl. The very first time I met her I got a very bad impression of her. She is very loud and pushy. She tried to tell me how getting SYW points and credit apps would help my pay check but that was a big lie, it helps Sears and makes her look good. She is lazy and a despicable manager. You know the old saying I would not ask you to do anything I wouldn’t do well Apryl would never say that. She does not answer pages and expects you to deal with irate customers, when that’s her job. There is no respect for the employees now and that is all Apryl. They cannot keep employees working there. I was decusted working there again so I left and I will never, ever come back there to work. Some people don’t need to work with the public and Apryl is one of those people.
Be VERY careful buying a bed from Sears that has to be delivered. We bought a mattress and box springs. We then bought a bed and didn't need the box springs. We called the number on the receipt, they (in India) said we couldn't return it for 30 days. What?? We don't need it and want you to pick it up. "Sorry, call back in 30 days! So we did call back in 30 days and were told it would cost 15% to return it. To save money, we borrowed a truck and brought it back to Sears but they would not accept it. They told us if we'd called them before the 30 days, they could have taken it back but since we waited the 30 days, the matter goes to India office. We did call 4 days after we purchased ! What a circus. So, Sears called India to restart our Pick Up. They called, we called back and were told the cost to pick up the box springs would cost $15 plus $69 to pick up. That is so wrong, SEARS! The box springs cost $150 to buy and $84 to return. How does that make any sense? We will NEVER step into SEARS again. Done!
Game into lawn and garden and was helped by Adam the sales associate he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the mower I purchased. Excellent service and honest direct service that is hard to find these days
