I was disappointed in the standing spray I ordered for a funeral. There were very few flowers for $150. I used this florist years ago when I lived in Hickory and was always happy with their service. Unfortunately, the quality is not the same as it was back in 2000.
Called and ordered a Peace Lilly for my sister's funeral. The lady seemed clueless on the phone. When I arrived to the funeral home, I had paid $60 for a 6 inch Lilly that only cost $15 at Walmart. The card didn't even say what we told her to put on it. I only used this place because Hickory Funeral Home recommended it. Do not recommend using this place. It was a rip off.
I just called them and they were absolutely rude! I was calling for a school event that we would be having, in which we needed floral donations (1/2 a dozen roses). As soon as I said that, the woman said something extremely rude to me. So, I immediately hung up. I don't recommend anyone use their service. This was just absolutely inappropriate, especially for someone whose job it is to talk to people.
I live in another state and found this florist online. I read the two reviews from unhappy customers and was impressed by the new owners response (apparently those experiences were from a previous ownership). I liked that the new owner took the time to address the issues head on and decided to give them a try. I'm very glad I did. The person I dealt with (Susan?) was simply delightful and careful about every detail. The recipient of the flowers was so impressed with them that she sent a photo so I could see what they looked like. Beautiful. I loved how they handled everything and will definitely use them again.
2/6/2013 This Florist is a ripoff do not do business with this florist took my credit card info and never delivered flowers to my realitive who passed away. Special Touch Florist in Hickory N.C. is a ripoff steer clear. They will not answer the phone..Frank Warren from Michigan.
