These guys are absolutely wonderful. They do a great job when I need my oil changed and an inspection done. Always friendly and professional. I will continue to come back. They do a great job with the car wash and wipe excess water off by hand.
Was doing an oil change on a truck that was last serviced by Five Star Car Wash and Oil Change and found the drain bolt tightened beyond belief. An impact wouldn't even take this drain bolt out. After many failed tricks, I finally had to weld a socket on it and it took two people and a breaker bar to break the torque on this plug. I called them and asked what they torqued their drain bolts to and the guy said "snug and a quarter turn." He also told me that I was probably turning the bolt the wrong way. Ran in to the same problem with the oil filter. I wouldn't trust these guys with a Hot Wheels car.
I have dealt with these people for five years now because it is close to my office. They accept competitor's coupons. I have only had one time when the service did not meet my expectation but, upon return, they made everything right.
Update: took it back to 5 star. Was told a new plug was put in when truck originally came back. The sealant I saw was just extra protection. changed rating from 1 star to 4. Guy was straight up with me and removed the extra seal as I requested.
Very quick service and nice waiting area
Took my new truck there for a simple oil change. Noticed an oil spot upon pickup. They took it back in to bay to fix it. When I got home I noticed an oil spot again. Brought it back and they put some sort of stop leak spray foam around the drain plug. ITS A NEW TRUCK!
