If I could give this store a ZERO star I would. Don’t go here if your not a size 2 or below (you won’t fit in) and if you have children (they severely turn a blind eye on anyone with a child 16 or younger). This place needs to realize you are spending your hard earned money here and that is pays their salerys.. These people are in for a rude awakening when they have children of their own.. unacceptable
DD is the average cup size of women in the United States! Why is that their largest size? That experience was the beginning of many years of frustration and difficulty for me regarding bras. But it was especially terrible because of all of those employees gathered around, gawking at me, being entirely unhelpful, and then telling me that I was "lucky".
Lisa is very helpful everytime i go in there though, i travel 30 minutes out of my way for this one over any other one.
Lots of times I go in there and the displays are messed up and it's hard to look for my size.
It's been a while since I've been there, but it was such a memorable experience that I feel it's still worth a review.
I was able to shop at Dillard's for a few years after that, until I grew beyond size G. Now rare stores specializing in hard to fit women are my only option.
So Tina is the best. I've had 2 babies so you know, and she was so wonderful and helpful!
My mom took me to VS for some new bras when I was about 15 years old. This was before my 32 DD was obviously too small, and I thought we would simply be purchasing the same size.
I called ahead of time to make sure they had the style of bra I needed and in a variety of sizes. (I needed to be measured once I got there). The associate who answered was extremely nice and I did make the 45 minute drive. Once there, the girl helping me get sized was very knowledgeable and sincere. (For the record, while I was in the dressing room, I overheard several other associates helping customers & they also seemed helpful). The only reason I gave the 4 stars is not bc of the employees but because of V/S in general. They need to have more sizes available IN STORE. I needed a bra today (I had surgery and needed a certain style of bra to help me heal). I had to end up ordering the bra online because the size was not available in store. Well, its Christmas time and my size was not available online either, so now I have to wait till inventory is restocked. No bra today. :(
They told me that I was a 32 DDD, and that they don't carry that size, and then spent what felt like forever insisting that a 34 C would work fine. I had owned 34s before, and after they were broken in they became so loose that I could easily pull them up over my chest (not a small obstacle) without unhooking them.
I was measured anyway, and the girl seemed confused, she asked a second employee to measure me as well. Then they asked to measure me with my bra off, maybe they thought I was wearing a padded one? Like I needed the help. Anyway, I was kinda shy back then, so I put my shirt back on after taking off my old bra. They called over a few more employees, just to gawk at me. It made me extremely uncomfortable.
Its okay, my favorite.
