This place is my favorite in Hickory. If you are a craft brew aficionado, this is the place for you. They always have 12 beers on tap and rotate them constantly. As an aside, I am a huge fan of sour beers, and this place is the only place in town that has them! The best part of Craft Beer Cellar is they let you take your pups in (if they're not misbehaved!) and sit with you for a drink. You can also bring in other food since they dont serve anything to eat. I would highly recommend!
If you really like craft beer, this is the place to go. They have legitimate imported beer, all kinds of local and US brews sorted by state. Also a cool little bar in the back. You can try a beer while you walk around and pick something out
