To find the trust displayed by the establishment nowadays is rare. Their understanding and compassion to complete strangers makes this restaurant a treasure.
The burger I received was outstanding! Bacon was crispy but not jaw stabbing. The meat was juicy and the toasted bun was perfection.
Upon settling the tab I displayed a debit card and was then informed they do not accept debit cards. Cash or check only. Naturally...I freaked because I'm not from here and had no future plans to return any time soon. The lady informed me it was okay. Don't worry about it and I can pay whenever I do come back to town. That was shocking but also unacceptable in my world.

The Best Hot Dogs in Hickory NC Hands down. Homemade everything.... All their food is Wonderful, friendly staff....Clean but Facilities is dated but you can't beat the food or prices .....
I rushed out to locate the nearest ATM and I then returned to settle my debt. Thankful and very apologetic to say the least.
