We were very disappointed with our stay!!! This was only the second time we have ever used Hilton and both stays within a month were very disappointing! Last month my mother booked a night at the Hilton in Raleigh 5 months in advanced to our wedding night and they gave our room away!! They didn’t do anything at the time but give us a double bed room and only apologized so my mom called up and they said they would give us enough points for one free night at any Hilton we chose. Well we go to this Hickory one for my birthday weekend and they try to tell us we will have to check out and check back in to a different room Saturday night...... I said why could we not just stay in the same room so they finally made it work....... Anyway when we checked out this morning we noticed on the receipt we were charged for breakfast that we did not order, they fixed it luckily but someone ordered breakfast and put it on our room!!! This place needs to have a better way of dealing with unhappy customers!!! Oh and the free night they promised us was a bunch of bull because they didn’t only charge my moms card $96 but my husbands too!!!! Never ever again will we stay at a Hilton!!!! They had a chance to make it up and what do they do? Screw us over again! #neverstayathilton!!!!
Nice Hotel in the Hilton chain. We understand the holidays and short staff but a dirty tub with body hair is unacceptable. Only issue weve had at this location. Breakfast is awesome and reasonably priced.
I would not say we have a 5 star hotel here but as far as Hilton Garden Inns go, this is one of the best. Very clean, friendly staff and a great location. Nearby restaurants are an added plus.
It's pretty posh. There's an indoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, bar, and more that I didn't have time to investigate in 2 nights. My room is right next to a ventilation fan, so if you can't stand white noise then make sure to get a room on an upper floor. The staff are very helpful and aim to please. My biggest complaint is that the breakfast wasn't free. Some food (all the protein options available and then a couple other things) costed $10 for all you can eat. I was sleepy and didn't notice the big sign that announced it, then got dinged for an expensive and underwhelming breakfast.
Great service. Would have 5 stars if the shower curtain wasn't nasty. Sleeper sofa sheets looked messy/not clean.
