My family and I have used Ashe Van Lines in Hickory several times and have been very pleased each time. They are very careful with all furniture and make sure everything is done properly and in a timely manner. Any problems are taken care of promptly and professionally. Everyone there is very friendly and tries to make your move go as smooth as possible.
If I could give them 1000 stars, I would! I cannot speak highly enough about Jamie and Chanel and their entire team at Ashe Van Lines! They absolutely saved my install and could not have been more kind and accommodating through the entire process. They truly were such a breath of fresh air and at a time I really needed it. I am out of state, but hope I get to work with them at some point in the future. If you have any moving or storage needs, large or small, I would absolutely use them. I work in the interior design world and have used MULTIPLE different companies around the US and no one compares to Ashe. THANK YOU!!!!!
I love Ashe Van Lines! I have used them several times, and been impressed each time. Most recently, we had storm damage from a tornado and had to move out all of the furniture from our 1st floor for repairs. Jamie and his crew arrived and did a fabulous job. They carefully wrapped each piece of furniture and placed in our garage. They placed thick moving paper on the floor of the garage to further protect the furniture. This included our refrigerators, washer and dryer, a piano, and several antiques. Two and one-half weeks later they returned to move everything back into the house and set it up. Perfect! No damage, no trash left behind. This was a stressful time for us, but Jamie and his crew took the moving stress away. These folks are AWESOME. I would highly recommend them!
I met my husband and son at my father's new house to instruct where the furniture was to be placed and I reminded the movers that it was a new house (everything recently built and added therefore nothing was wrong with it). As they began moving, I found a hunk of the new floor missing after they moved a piece of furniture in the same room. The furniture was brand new as I had it sent to my house to store while my father's house was being built and we later found scrapes and small pieces missing off of furniture. Also, my father was missing hardware pieces off of some of the items and the movers did not even wrap the mattress as they moved it from my house to my father's. When I contacted the office person (who did not have their act together the entire time) I do not think my messages of concern were relayed to Jamie because I never received a call back. Overall we are extremely disappointed and had a bad experience. I know that Jamie shoots for the best and maybe it was a bad day however we will not be returning customers.
When meeting with Jamie, he was very nice and we enjoyed talking to him. He truly went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. Actually, my father liked Jamie so much, he was the reason why we hired this moving company in the first place.
The older mover (name started with a T) fussed and cussed at his younger coworker the whole time. The younger coworker fussed about Jamie and said Jamie only cared about getting good reviews online to the point that it made us uncomfortable to even leave our true feedback. One point the older mover got so mad when they were moving a couch that he ended up messing up my hallway wall. I understand that the furniture was being moved from my house however I still have to live there and did not expect it to be messed up.
My move provided by Ashe Van Lines Moving & Storage was the simplest move I've ever experienced. All the men were very courteous, professional and helpful. They were all careful with my furniture and boxes with no problems occurring. They were also very mindful that I was paying by the hour and finished way ahead of the estimated time . I will definitely use Ashe Van Lines Moving & Storage the next time I move and highly recommend them. Beyond the professionalism, they were also all very nice and easy to talk with which is a very nice personal touch in my opinion.
My elderly father hired these movers because we simply cannot life heavy items anymore. This is the first time hiring a moving company and my husband and son stayed the entire time to instruct what furniture was to be moved.
