Everyone here, especially Amber who grooms our dog, Chloe are the best at what they do. I highly recommend Amber to groom any or all of your dogs. Amber is very professional and gentle with all her clients fur babies. She also charges a reasonable price for grooming. I will not take my dog anywhere else besides here at Poocchi'
Oh how I love this place. Amber is AMAZING in everything she does. She is so great with the animals and you can see she loves every single one of them. She tries her best on every dog that comes her way no matter how big, small, nice, mean, etc. She is a very hard worker and most of her time is spent in this business taking care of these babies. I seen a few comments about their animals being there longer than expected, please try to remember she is the ONLY groomer at this business. She tries her best to get everyone in and can have 20-30 dogs a day (I would say that is a lot on one person doing it all). If you want a great groomer and someone that actually loves and cares for your babies, this is the place to go.

I am not very pleased with my first experience. I'm not highly upset either, but I am frustrated. I made an appointment for 10:00 am, assuming my dog would be groomed soon after I dropped her off. When I got there I was told I couldn't pick her up until 2, but I ended up waiting around for 8 hours before calling for the fourth time to be told she was finally ready. The price is great and that's the only reason I'm not more upset. But I feel like they could have been more upfront with how long it was going to take. Also, I don't understand the point of scheduling appointments because I was told that the animals are done in the order they were brought in. I wasn't planning on wasting 8 hours wandering around. I would have appreciated them telling me to just come back at 6 pm so I could have gone home to wait.
I always call last minute with my overgrown mini-schnauzer (we like him long, so we let him grow out in between cuts). They always get him in and send him home to us happy and looking fantastic, even on a busy Saturday. We drop him off, they call when he is ready. There are many choices of groomers in the Hickory area, but we won't go anywhere else! As a bonus, the price is fantastic as well.
