The absolute best vet service I have ever received. They take their time with my pet and recommend all possible services possible to determine a cause of Illness. I have 4 pets and love them enough to provide the quality of care they require.
We have been going to Banfield for almost 10 years now and have always received great results. I think what people don't realize that this is not a "vet". This is more of a insurance plan to keep your pets healthy all their lives. We had one dog almost love to 19 years thanks to them and are next oldest 2 are 16 years each. We have 5 total now. This place is for parents of animals not owners. Most of the plans include a dental cleaning once a year and the plans do give a discount depending what tier you are. Oh, plus....the people are terrific. Everyone is.
The vets and staff are very friendly and take good care of pets, but the price is an extreme rip off compared to other vets, even with a care plan. I hoped the plan would pay off, but they charge WAY more than other vets even on top of the monthly plan payment. If I had no financial restrictions, I would still bring my pets here, but this is no place for people who aren't rich. I do wish I'd been given an estimate of their charge for pulling teeth before our cat had been given anesthesia. One tooth there cost much more than three teeth being pulled would have cost at the second place I checked. I'm mad at myself for not having demanded more information on pricing before dropping my cat off. Because I should have demanded an estimate, I take partial responsibility and give them three stars.
