The staff and vet are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We felt so welcomed and taken care of!
Our cat became sick suddenly and our local vets couldn't get us in without an appointment and of course they had no available appointments until the following week. We were concerned for him so we searched for vets in Hickory, which is the closest town to us about an hour away since we live in Boone. Blue Skies came up and had wonderful reviews so we called them. The woman who answered was very sympathetic and understood our situation, so she made sure to squeeze us in, unlike our local vets. Dr. Wuest was extremely personable and explained everything to us. On top of that, they were less expensive than our regular vet. We had a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be making the hour drive in the future to make sure our cats get the best quality care that they can.
One of the best vets I've ever taken my animals to. They are open on Saturdays which is a huge plus. The vets there are very caring and I feel very comfortable with them. They always take good care of my cat!
We took our kitten in for his first visit yesterday. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Wuest is the best veterinarian I have ever met. He is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Everyone who handled our little guy was extremely gentle even while drawing blood and giving him a shot. We got the test results during our visit. We will definitely be taking our other cats there as well. We recommend Blue Skies to anyone with a pet.
