Went to buy a doberman puppy for my kids. No dogs were there. Seems you could only buy or "adopt" which = buy a dog from the pound and only on certain days. Since when did pet stores stop having puppies? I know I have bought them in the past. I really don't want to give my kids a dog that has been abused or neglected.

Gave my pup a nice haircut and shampoo. The associate at the register let me use a $5 off coupon. She was very sweet and kind.
At least a quarter of their fish ALWAYS look diseased or they're already dead on the substrate. Their staff is perfectly ok with sending a customer out with a betta and a quarter-gallon plastic square as their "aquarium." I come here for fish supplies only when I have to. Staff doesn't know the difference between different strains of fish, doesn't know how they're to be cared for, and seem to have a general disregard for their well-being. It smacks of incompetence or, even worse, intentional misleading of customers in order to make a quick buck for the company.
Animals are not ornaments; don't treat them that way.
Always good friendly service when I am here. Even with pet perks card this place is too expensive for my taste, and I try to avoid comming in on weekends because that's when the adopt a cat is here and I just want to take them all home with me. However good price if your looking for a simple hamster or guinea pig for a first pet for child.
I really like PetSmart...really. But, when I stopped yesterday a bit after 5 pm, there was one register open to check out. After waiting for the 4 people in line in front of me, I put my heavy bag of dog food on the counter, along with 3 other items and then, only then, did someone come to ask if she could check me out at another register! Why in the world would I want to move to another line then?? After moving all that from my cart?? I paid and left. The young man running the register was very nice, but very busy!!
