Treated with the utmost respect & care. Staff is very friendly & makes you feel comfortable. You're never rushed or made to feel like just another number. Today I was fortunate enough to get a same day appointment for my back that was scheduled right before my other appointment I have today.
Horrible clinic especially the MH team they act nice to your face but write lies in your notes. After two years of switching team after team I realized it was hopeless and ended my care with the VA got a copy of my C File and went private. They need to shut this VHA trash down.
This is not a female veteran-friendly clinic. Their "women's health" section has zero female doctors. And their male MSA's (mainly Brian), speak to female veterans as if we did nothing for the cause and do not deserve equal respect. I felt unsafe and unwelcome, so I coughed up 1000s a year in private health care.
I have never received better care. This Outpatient clinic is part of Asheville NC Hospital which is rates #1 for patient satisfaction and it's true.
I want to know why the clinic hours are not work friendly? As a veteran who works a full time job the clinic hours are not convenient. As a school teacher I can't take off anytime I want and I am sure there are other working veterans who have the same problem. Seriously closing at 4pm is ridiculous. Regular doctors offices work till 530 or 6pm why can't the VA as well. I have to take a day off work to just get lab work done because the lab closes at 3pm. A full hour before the clinic does. Since this clinic services such a large area having it close at 4pm is not serving the customer. This needs to be reviewed.
