My wife and I purchased a number of furniture items from Good's Home Furnishings in August, in preparation for a new house we were expecting to occupy in late November. All the personnel that we dealt with were helpful, but particularly Vanguard representative Doug Penn, who coordinated the process to allow storage of all items while a Vanguard sofa and dining table/chairs were ordered. Doug was fantastic to work with, providing us fabric samples and schedule updates in anticipation of our closing on the new home. Prices were very good and all the furniture was delivered on time and in great shape. We definitely plan to return for future furniture needs.
I ordered my family room furniture from Good's and worked with Melanie. She really knows her stuff and helped me out tremendously! I don't make decisions quickly, but she was very patient with me and continued to pull out and search for the perfect fabrics. Definitely seek her out. The room looks awesome and I have been very pleased with the quality of my furniture. I saw a store in my home town with my same leather recliner from Taylor King, and it was $1000 more! So you can definitely save some money even counting the shipping expense. I would mention that the turn around from the time you order, to the time you receive the furniture, can be long, so don't be in too much of a hurry. Overall it was a very good experience and I had fun. It is a good idea to do your homework before you go. Know what you want, browse the website beforehand. I personally have to feel and see fabrics before I can be comfortable with ordering, but I knew the basic style I liked. I will definitely return to Good's for future furniture needs.

The delivery was quick and the guys made sure I was satisfied with the product and the cleanup afterwards. I only had one minor electrical issue, which Stephanie resolved quickly.
